You should also make sure your property is clear of any obstacles before treatment so the Technician has a clean area to treat. This includes any yard debris, children’s toys, and pet bowls or waste. Our Tick & Mosquito products are liquid-based and applied using a backpack mister. The fine mist provides excellent coverage and is able to penetrate into deep foliage where Ticks & Mosquitoes often reside. Additionally, we add a tackifier to our mix to ensure on-target application and enhanced residual even after post-treatment rainfall, ensuring your application does not wash away.

Areas treated for Ticks & Mosquitos are safe to re-enter once the product has dried. On warm, sunny days, this will only take as little as 30 minutes to one hour. If you are unsure if the product has dried, the best test is to pour water on pavement or stone. Once it is dry, the treated areas should be dry as well.

Ensuring the health, safety, and vitality of the environment is what got many of us into maintaining green spaces in the first place and pollinators are no exception. We don’t use any neonicotinoids in our Lawn Care programs and always leave a buffer zone around bee habitats when treating for ticks and mosquitoes to ensure no off-target drift during application.

Tick & Mosquito services cannot be performed in the rain, but services can be performed ahead of rainfall without issue in some cases. We mix our Tick & Mosquito products with a special tackifier to ensure on-target application and enhanced residual even after post-treatment rainfall, ensuring your application does not wash away.

No, you should not expect control of these insects as a result of this service.

Gnats and/or black flies are not the target pest for this service, so while you will see some immediate control due to the method of our application and the products we use, we cannot guarantee against them. These flying insects have faster, more continual breeding cycles and fly substantially farther than mosquitoes, making them more likely to return sooner post-treatment than the target pests.

For the most part, ants don’t damage your lawn. In fact, their tunnels actually help to aerate your soil naturally! If they are increasingly noticeable, it might be an indicator that you are mowing too short. A taller turf stand will naturally grow thicker and minimize the ant’s presence. Ants also prefer dryer soils, so be sure you have your watering practices dialed in for optimal lawn health.

All of our technicians are fully licensed and trained to follow best management practices and all products we use are applied according to manufacturer guidelines to eliminate issues associated with overuse or misuse. We wouldn’t put anything on your lawn that we wouldn’t personally feel comfortable putting on our own family’s lawn.

While we do try to schedule our Technicians to spend more time on properties and less time driving, we never sacrifice our service quality to make that happen. All of our programs are designed with specific intervals between treatments. If it is not the appropriate time to service your property, we will come back when it is!

Our New England springs are difficult to manage when it comes to weather. Be it rain, wind, or a freak snowstorm, we are always adjusting on the fly. We only schedule one day in advance so we can adapt to conditions in real-time without over-promising and under-delivering. We will be out on your property as soon as we can!

Yes! To qualify, you must prepay for the entire season upfront. This discount will vary depending on the time of the year. For the greatest discount, make sure to prepay by December 31st!

We focus on providing excellent value with the services we perform, so we don’t offer a senior discount specifically. We do, however, offer prepayment and referral discounts.

Thank you very much for your service. We do not offer a military discount, but we do participate in the Greencare for Troops program. If you or your spouse are deployed, we will treat your lawn at no charge during deployment. The application process is very easy and we can assist you through it.
