We begin with a comprehensive property assessment to evaluate your lawn and outdoor areas. Our team will assess the best spots for treatment, paying close attention to areas where mosquitoes and ticks are likely to breed, such as your tree canopy and shaded zones. This ensures we're targeting the areas most affected by these pests.

Service Application

We apply a specially formulated treatment designed to target mosquitoes. The product is carefully applied to the tree canopy and all areas of your property where these pests congregate. We've also added a sticking agent to the product, ensuring that it adheres to target areas for longer-lasting results, even resisting rainfall after treatment. While mosquitoes are the primary target, you'll also see some control of ticks, though this program doesn't cover the shoulder seasons when ticks are most active.

Program Visits

Our service is scheduled over the course of the year to ensure continuous protection. You'll receive treatments approximately every 4-5 weeks during the following months:

Are Mainely Grass Mosquito Control treatments safe for kids and pets?

Yes! We wouldn’t use anything on your lawn we wouldn’t use on our own. Our licensed Technicians are trained to apply products carefully, only where mosquitos actually live. We treat your yard like it’s ours, because we know it’s not just grass, it’s where your family plays, relaxes, and makes memories.

How long does it take for Mosquito Control treatments to work?

Most customers see results within a few hours of treatment. Because we target areas where mosquitoes actually rest and breed, like dense vegetation and shady corners, our sprays go to work fast. That means you’ll spend more time enjoying your yard and less time swatting at bugs.

Does your Mosquito Control service control fleas?

No, our Mosquito Control service is designed specifically to target adult mosquitoes where they live, rest, and breed. It doesn’t provide reliable control for fleas.

Is there anything I can do to keep mosquitoes away between service visits?

Yes, there are a few simple steps you can take to help our treatments go further. Dump any standing water around your yard, mosquitoes love to lay eggs in birdbaths, clogged gutters, toys, and plant saucers. Mosquitoes also like to hide in shady, overgrown areas. Keep your grass mowed and shrubs trimmed to reduce hiding spots. And, if anything changes in your yard or mosquito activity, let us know right away so we can adjust your treatment plan. 

Can’t I just handle Mosquito Control myself with store-bought products?

You can try, but most store-bought products only offer short-term relief and they rarely treat the real problem.
