I have had the services of 2 other companies.  There is no comparison to the services of Mainely Grass.  They do a complete job, very good coverage and attention to detail.  I have a fresh water spring/brook about 25 feet into my backyard woods.  I have deer that carry ticks.  Mainly Grass is attentive to that perimeter area  as it generates mosquitoes and ticks.  And they bother to ask me if I’m satisfied !  Imagine.   So,  do I recommend them?  Absolutely.

Our first year, New home & lawn, and Mainely Grass has done an excellent job.  Zero complaints.  Better coverage, more timely, and well worth the money with no extra or shy chemicals/ie fertilizers, lime and weed killers and no extra equipment(spreaders) to store.  Looks better with no stripes.

Mainely Grass is a Great Company. Its an example of the saying "Be The Best in The World," --"Its the only market that is not crowded." My lawn looks better than ever before, I realize its a work of art in progress that takes time. That said is there is a problem due to high temps, drought, or rain, Mainely Grass always gets right on it and does whatever is necessary to make it right. They go out of their way . . . How long should it take for a specialist to complete a Lawn Care treatment?

Most lawn treatments take 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of your yard and the type of service. Our Technicians work efficiently, but never rush. They’re trained to apply products carefully and spot any issues while they’re on your property. If your lawn needs extra attention, we’ll take the time to explain what we see and what to do next.

How long does it take to see results from my Lawn Care service?

Every lawn is different, so results can vary. Some changes are visible right away; others take a few weeks as your grass responds. If you’d like a clearer picture, our Account Managers or Technicians are happy to walk your yard with you, explain what to expect, and even run a free soil test. That way, we can build a plan tailored to your lawn instead of guessing.

When can my kids and pets go outside after a Lawn Care treatment?

Once the product has dried, it’s safe for kids and pets to go back on the lawn. On warmer, drier days, our products can dry in as little as an hour or two. One way to tell if the product has dried is to spray a walkway or patio with water. If that dries out, it is likely our product is dry as well.

Do I need to water my lawn after a Lawn Care treatment?

Yes, watering helps get the most out of your treatment. We recommend watering the day after your treatment, ideally in the early morning between 4-9 a.m. Every lawn is a little different, but a good general rule is to water 1-3 times per week, aiming for an average of 10 minutes per zone. That’s usually enough to soak the soil deeply and support healthy root growth. 

Can’t I just take care of my lawn myself?

You can, and a lot of people try. But lawn care takes time, experience, and the right products to get real results. We diagnose what’s really going on with your lawn and apply professional treatments that work below the surface, not just what you see. So instead of guessing, experimenting, or spending weekends troubleshooting, you get a lawn you can actually enjoy.
